Who said 4x4s couldn't be classy?
While at Sette we identify mostly with the aesthetic of classic sport cars, we also have a thing for 4x4. In this occasion, we joined a meet organised by our friends at Pilgrims and Classic Concept. Here's how it went:
We woke up early, the kind of early no one likes on a Saturday. By 6:30am we were already halfway through the highway on our way to the meeting point, about a 1h 30min north of Barcelona. The plan was simple; meet up, have a quick breakfast, give the shirts and caps to the team, and start the route to be on time for lunch at 15h. The problem? More than six hours of unknown heavy terrain ahead of us on a very hot day.
So off we went, fully equipped with the brand new clothes. The team felt like models, but little did they know that all the content from that day would be displayed on the web for the launch of the collection. And not long after we went from models to mechanics. On the first harsh part of the route, one of our favourite cars broke down, the Rothmans Porsche Cayenne. Seeing how severe the damage was, we had to abandon the car in the nearest town and continue up north.
The rest of the route went as smooth as it could go. We had fun, played around to take a few amazing shots and even had time for a snack. We literally opened the trunk of the Camel Trophy Range P38 in the middle of nowhere and enjoyed a little vermouth. After that, a couple more hours of dusty and rocky terrain led us to the restaurant, where we could finally rest after an exhausting morning against the clock.
We honestly can't count the times we got lost, but all in all it was part of the experience and it couldn't have been better. You can check out all the images in our latest post at @scuderiasette, as well as the new collection below!
Stay stylish,
Sette Team
